Carbon Calling are staging a free Farming into the Future event, on the subject of farm profitability without the BPS, at Slaidburn Village Hall on Thursday evening 23rd November.
The session will be led by Liz Genever and Nic Renison from Carbon Calling CIC. Then Alan Cowan, livestock farmer from Northumberland, and William Emerson, livestock farmer from Co Durham, will talk about how farmers are making changes to their businesses to be ready for the future, with a focus on soil health and their own well-being. This will be followed by a panel session with farmers.
The evening will start with light refreshments 6pm to 7 pm, and close at 9.30 with tea and coffee.
