The Parish Council is grateful to local landowners for repairing stiles and carrying out other improvements on footpath 24, which runs from Furnessford Road below Cowkins Coppice Farm towards Mashiters and Riggs, and which affords great views down Hindburndale. This complements work done two years ago by Tatham Footpath Volunteers to create steps down the steep bank below Furnessford Road, and means that the overall path condition has improved from difficult to very good.
