Tatham footpath volunteers have replaced a dilapidated stile at School Hill. The new gate, manufactured in Tatham by Richard Hope, and funded from the County Council Local Delivery Scheme grant, is an upgrade to the path linking Meggs Farm on Park Lane and Raby Lodge on Old Moor Road, and is well worth leaning on for while to take in the wonderful panorama, encompassing Farleton Fell, the Three Peaks, and all the hills between. Thanks to volunteers Gerald, Geoff and Richard, and also to landowners Bill and Margaret for their support – and refreshments!
