February 2024. The cycling charity Sustrans continues to work hard with a range of local partners, including Lancashire County Council, to explore the feasibility of extending the Lune Valley Greenway to Hornby, Wray and Wennington.
Sustrans has also just completed a package of improvement works on the existing Greenway at Caton, and to celebrate, it is hosting a family-friendly event day at Crook O’Lune next weekend (Saturday 17th February) with lots of free activities, plus (advance registration required) free hot drinks.
