The Bay Unitary Authority Proposal

February 2021. Councillors Osborne, Taylor and Wilson attended a follow-up Zoom briefing for town and parish councillors, led by the Leader and Chief Executive of Lancaster City Council. It was reported that the three councils involved – Lancaster, Barrow and South Lakeland – are hopeful that the government will shortly give the go-ahead for a full eight-week public consultation on the proposal, which Tatham Parish Council has resolved to support.
